Job Description
1. Developing new accounts for off shore / onsite projects, integration projects in the following domains.
a. Business Intelligence
b. Performance Management
c. Portals and Collaboration
2. This shall be a fully customer facing role. It begins with creating a database of target customers, approaching them with company offerings, mapping company services with their requirements, winning deals and staying in touch for future business opportunities.
3. Key account management is required where the incumbent will bring in repeat business from the same customer while ensuring healthy business relations. Penetrate deeper into existing account, map the entire account, and understand the requirements of each team.
4. Understand the business requirements, upcoming projects and proactively scout for new projects with new clients
5. Build relationship with other teams in the account
6. Should possess ability to close deals worth Rs. 10 lacs to 50 lacs each
7. Coordinate with Management & proposal team for generating proposals in response to RFPs
8. Coordinate with project managers and build a cohesive environment in order to team up for effective proposals.
9. Ability to draw help from various resources in the company from time to time.
10. Position Company favorably so as to procure any new clients / new business coming from accounts developed by him.
 
Candidate Profile
Candidate profile
1. Educational qualifications : BE, MBA
2. 8 to 10 years of experience in an IT company in Sales / business development role
3. Posses understanding of technology and development processes.
4. Ability to prepare high value proposals and close the sale
5. Must be able to build new relationships and maintain existing relationships
6. Ability to “smell” business in existing accounts
7. High energy levels and a pleasing personality.
8. Good communication skills – verbal and written

1. Must have acumen to work for clients in India well as exposure to other markets.
