Company Profile For our client, one of the leading names in the Insurance Industry we are seeking Zonal HR Head- West Zone, for which the details are as under

Pls note that this is urgent requirement and the interactions with the client are happening in the week of 26th-30th July.

Qualification: Post graduate in HRLocation: MumbaiExperience: Atleast 10yrs of experience (preferably from Service Industry)

Job Description Reporting to: VP HR
Supervising: the Zonal HR team which may 8-10 employees across bands
 
Role and responsibilities:* He is responsible for a gamut of HR activities at the zone with a focus on distribution teams and supporting various HR initiatives.
* He should have strong leadership capabilities
* Ensure that all the manpower requirements of the zone is met taking care of processes and TAT
* Ensure quality of recruitment, including improved relationships with search firms
* Employee engagement and retention with a focus on Distribution channels. Should be responsible for initiation and execution of processes for improved retention
* Employee development, which includes identification and implementation of development plans  and training calendar
* Ensure harmonious employee relations
* Implement performance review cycle for the zone and facilitate building of a Leadership pipeline
* Ensure compliance with all Labour Laws in the zones
* Responsible for HR Operations
* Resolution of employee issues
* Providing information to HO and HR team to facilitate effective decision making
